From the perspective of today’s science, if we look at our ancient knowledge, we are bound to feel that the world has been able to know very little despite the great strides taken by science. In the sphere of solar science, when we see the thousands of Mantras out of the 20,400 Mantras of all the four Vedas, which describe the construction, features and working of this divine creation of hundreds of crores of years, put in verse form by the Rishis, as well as the matter that existed before the sun, we are greatly surprised. Is this not enough to praise and honor the ancient Indians? Is it possible for a man to provide the knowledge about the matter that existed in space in its minutest form to human beings? Moreover, is it possible for a man to categorize the minute particles in a particular specific order? That is the reason why no one can doubt the fact that Maharshi Dayanand considered the four Vedas to be Divine Creations.

To see and understand how many different minute categories were made of the minute particles of matter in the four Vedas, an attempt is made here to study some related Mantras of the YajurVeda. ‘Om Ishe Tvorjai Tva Vayav Stha Devo Vah’. In the first Mantra of YajurVeda about ‘Savita’, "Ishe" is described as one type of food out of 28, in the Nighantu 2/1. ‘Tva’ is also another type of food out of 29. ‘Ishe’ is to provide energy. Next comes ‘Tva’ again, which enjoins the next four ‘Padas’ with the earlier two from a poetic point of view. These four are "Nayat, Sthah, Devah, and Vah." These are also four forms of the Five Great Elements, e.g., gaseous form of wind is Nayat, Sthah is the earth, Devah is one of the 12 types of sun light (e.g. 12 types of a day like Dinam, Divah as per Nighantu 1/9), and Vah is one of 101 different minute types of water (Nighantu 1/12); it exists before actually forming water particles, in liquid form. In the above Mantra, the next stanza is ‘Savita’. ‘Savita’ is divided (Nighantu 5/4) into 32 specific types of matter existing in space, and into 31 specific types of matter existing in ‘Dyou". Here, the definitions of all these types of matter that has been existing in ‘Savita’ since hundreds of crores of years have been classified. Next is the ‘Pra’ prefix, which is a prefix, as well as the sun just about to rise in one of seven types of ways described in the Chhandogya Upanishad. To explain further, an attempt is made here to analyze each stanza in more details.

Ishe- is described as one of 28 types of food which provides energy (Nighantu 2/1 and 2/14). Maharshi Dayanand describes this as the one which provides energy to Tva and beings prosperity, in his commentary on YajurVeda. This shows that when God created the universe with matter, He also created knowledge of all the existing matter types in the form of the four Vedas. Even before the 28 types of food categories were made and described by the Rishis, 122 Gatis have been classified and interspersed in the four Vedas in Nighantu 2/14, and this knowledge has also been interspersed with them. After Mahabharat, there does not seem to exist any field in science which exhibits so much precision of classification, which explains why it is not possible in this day and time to classify so minutely.

About the subject of energy, in YajurVeda 1/1, in the science of Savita described by Parameshthi Prajapati Rishi, the Swarang Bruhati Chhand explains matter equipped with heat to be the main energy sources. For this, God has specifically directed to acquire knowledge of 28 types of food, 122 types of Gatis, about the food science called ‘Ishe’ with the help of sun light and moon light in the form of ‘Ashwini’. Man will acquire knowledge as much as he researches these principles. For energy, in YajurVeda 1/16, Parameshthi Prajapati Rishi has once again directed by way of the Brahmi Trishtup Chhand Bhed of the science of air, to acquire knowledge of food and energy science in the form of ‘Isham’ analyzing the food particles in their minutest form with the help of rays of ‘Mitravarun’ and electrical rays.

In YajurVeda 1/27, Parameshthi Prajapati Rishi has once again directed specifically to acquire knowledge about energy, by way of the Brahmi Trishtup Chhand Bhed of the Yadnyodevata, through the medium of ‘Tva’. This also makes it clear that the Yajnas which we perform today with a few mantras and a burning a few Samidhas, is not the only meaning of a Yajna. On the other hand, a real Yajna is to acquire knowledge of the minute matter described by the Rishis in various Chhands. And this is the way to acquire energy. Since the Trushtup Chhand is use here, an attempt should be made to acquire this knowledge with the help of electrical rays at the same time. This is explained in details in the Sukta 130 of Mandal 10 of the RigVeda.

Parameshthi Prajapati Rishi has once again directed specifically to acquire knowledge about energy by way of the Nichrudgati Chhand Bhed, and how energy is to be acquired using various commercially available things as well as other things (YajurVeda 1/30). This Mantra described the earth in the form of Vishnu who creates various juices etc., air, sun light and moon light to get energy, in the form of ‘Tva’. The interaction between space and the earth is also described here. Science and knowledge has been minutely classified here, and to know this, these verse need to be studied in minute details. In YajurVeda 2/34, Parameshthi Prajapati Rishi has described knowledge of acquiring energy by way of the science of Aapodevata (one of 16 types of space, one of 101 types of water forms, one of 36 types of matter on earth), through Bhoorik Oushnik Chhand Bhed, using the matter types (Pitar) that provide energy. Manu Smriti 3/194 to 3/198, Chhandogya Upanishad 1/2/10, Prashnopanishad 1/11 etc. explain these in details. The days of Devatas are said to be Shukla fortnight and those of the ‘Pitar’s are Krishna fortnight. This Mantra explains the contribution of all these in acquiring energy. In YajurVeda 3/20, Yadnyavalkya Rishi, through Bhoorik Bruhati Chhand Bhed of Aapodevata, this has been explained in much greater details. In YajurVeda 3/22, Vaishwamitro Madhuchhanda Rishi, through Bhoorikagasuri Gayatri Chhand Bhed of Agni Vigyan, describes about experimenting with a food type called ‘Namah’ which is one of the 28 types, together with all others in the form of fire and electricity, which will provide energy in the forms of speed and fighting prowess etc.

In YajurVeda 3/41, Suri Rishi, through Arshipanktishcha Chhand Bhed of VasurAgni Vigyan, describes about acquiring all energy knowledge during bachelorhood and experimenting during householderhood. In YajurVeda 3/49, Ournavabh Rishi, through Anushtubh Chhand Bhed of Yajna Vigyan, describes about acquiring all energy knowledge by way of Yajnas etc. to be performed by the Vaishya Varna people using electricity in many ways. All the four Vedas contain descriptions of various knowledge and sciences by so many different Rishis and so many Chhand Bheds, that one is really surprised how the creators of Vedas must have acquire so much knowledge of minutest energy types .

So many great wise men have devoted their lives in the pursuit of Vedic knowledge and presented it to the world, owing to which today, man can so easily acquire knowledge. From 1903 to 1960, due to the efforts of a number of great learned wise men, all indexes of all the four Vedas have been published with reference to the subject of energy. Using these, any ordinary person in India can be an expert in this subject. It is hoped that Indian experts will be successful in recognizing this energy and exhibiting the unlimited Vedic knowledge before the world.
