 Nowadays, new inventions and discoveries are taking place daily, in the field of Science, and thereby, every man is gaining more and more knowledge, of the Nature. No doubt, this is the matter of pride for everybody, but at the same time, the knowledge of, “Ancient Culture of India”, is in no degree, less praise-worthy. In modern science, The “Science and technic of tha Rays” is considered as the latest one. But, our ‘VEDAS’ have described the hundreds of varieties of ‘RAYS’. Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati, has discussed some Vedas, and opened the countless doors of Vedic knowledge, for all of us. But, unfortunately, he lived only a short life, as a result of which, we have remained void of that knowledge. However, the principles of ARYA SAMAJ, clearly indicate that the Vedas, is the un-ending store-house of knowledge. But, it is a matter of deep concern, that the present Arya Samaj, could not well progress, any Vaidic knowledge, upto this day, in spite of, so much praise by Maharshi Dayanand. Being inspired, by the doctrines of Arya Samaj, I studied the discussion of Vedas. As a result of my study, I came to the conclusion, that all the four (4) Vedas, together form a complete scientific treatise. It comprises of a number of branches of knowledge. With a view to attract, the minds of readers, towards this knowledge, I am quoting, a few instances, wherein the discussion of rays, named, “KETANA” (Ketana Kiran), is included. It is necessary for the Scholars, to carry out research on this topic, and present it to the Scientists of the World, whereby the whole Human - Race, will get some idea of our Ancient treasure of knowledge. Praskanva Rishi - has described the theory, by which, all the products produced by the action of “Ketava” Rays, emerging from the SUN, can be seen, shown, and can also be obtained. This theory is explained by the chant, - “Udu Tyam Jatave Dasam” in (SAMVEDA PURWACHIK, chant no.31). This topic has been further extended, in (RIGVED 1/50/ 1 to 5). The action and method etc. of this particular theory, has been discussed in (YAJUR. 7/41/49 Anuwak), in which 122 different theories of Speed and Velocity, available in our Ancient Literature, have been pointed out.

This theory has been combined with, one action, known as “Bahate”, out of 122 different kinds. This is described in details, in (YAJUR. 8/41 anuwak), as well as in (ATHARV. 13/2/16 and 20/41/13). This topic has been combined with other places in Vedas, through (Trai. Sam. 1/2/8/2 and 1/4/43/1), and is available in also (NIRUKTA 62/12). The “Science of Rays”, has been combined with the “SUN” theory, and extended in (YAJUR. 33/30 to 43 anuwak).

Trishira Rishi - has described, a number of theories, spreading from the “Sky” to “Heaven”, through the medium of “TRISHTUP” metre, dedicated to “AGNI”. This is extended in (RIGV. 10/8/6 Se 5 Prakaran). It is also related with (ATHARVA. 18/3/65). It is linked with other places in Vedas, through (Trai. Aa. 6/3/1).

Akrushta Bhashaha Rishi - has brought to light, the results taking place, by the action of Rays, on different substances, using “JAGATI” metre, dedicated to “SOM” (Som), in (Samveda 886 to 888 Trik). This topic is broadly explained in (RIGV. 9/86/4 Varga).

Kashyapaha Rishi - has explained this theory, in more details, through “GAYATRI” metre, dedicated to God “SOM”, in (SAMVED 958-960 Trik). This is available in 9/64/1 Varga, where it has been linked with “SUN Theory” (SURYA - VIJNAN).

Madhuchhandaha Rishi - has established the theory of “Combination and Separation of substances, through the medium of SUN-RAYS. “He has described it, through “GAYATRI” metre, dedicated to Gods, “INDRA” and “Marut Indrashya”, in (RIGV. 1/6/1 to 5). This topic is related to (SAMVEDA 1468 to 1470) (ATHARV.20/26/4; 20/41/21 and 20/69/9), (YAJUR. 23/5 and 29/37 Anuwak). It is also related with (Trai.Sam. 7/4/20/1).

Ajigarti Shunaha Shesh Krutrimo Vaishwamitro Devrati Rishi - has described the properties, and actions taking place, when the ‘SUN RAYS’ and ‘KETAWA RAYS’ react with different substances. This is expressed in ‘TRISHTUP” metre, dedicated to God, “VARUNASHWA” (Varunashwa), in (RIGV. 1/27/11 to 13). This topic is also available, in (YAJUR. 8/23 anuwak) (Trai.Sam. 1/4/45/1) (Trai.Aa. 1/11/2) (Nirukta 3/20).
